Soooo, like ya'll, I've been interested in microdosing for about 6 months. I heard the term first over on the Longecity forum, googled it, found The 3rd Wave, Tim Ferris and Joe Rogan etc etc.
I've been lurking here reading posts, reading people's experiences (bad as well as good) ever since then and even though it's been a long, long wait to try and acquire some it finally looks as if it's on the horizon. I wanted to share my intentions and a little background. To document this, as so many other here do. I'm not gonna lie... I've got high expectations of MD.
I don't take drugs. I use to smoked weed until I developed severe palpitations after smoking/eating it. I'm very sensitive (so it seems) to sugar, coffee, hot/cold, alcohol, stimulants, you name it! If I have sugar I crash badly, if I drink too much coffee I get borderline anxiety attacks, if I drink booze I'm the first to get pissed and the last to kick the hangover.
Taking into account my low threshold/tolerance I'm going to start with 2-5ug and go from there. My aims are 1.) Overcome procrastination 2.) To connect better with my emotions 3.) Better mood/better concentration.
I'd like to be able to cross back & forth between the various creative projects I've got going on in my life with less resistance. I'd like to get in touch with myself more, as I tend to delay emotional response and repress myself in many ways. I'd like to increase my mood, be present and more focused as well. If I can reduce overall anxiety and increase productivity and clarity of mind I'll be very happy!
Day one I'll do a lot of writing and see if anything has shifted, if I'm more productive and my focus is increased. Day two - business as usual.
Any advice you may wanna share is always hugely appreciated. Not necessarily looking for comments but just to keep a record. I'll post back here as soon as I have something to report.
