(Was going to post this last night but I ended up forgetting to do so)
4:30 - 5pm: Dosed 600mg, then 300mg 15min later, and another 300mg 15min after that. Strange way to dose I know, but whatever. Mostly empty stomach at this point.
T+ .5-1hr: A sense of calm comes over me as I get ready to go out. I’m a little iffy about my decision to dose right before seeing my family, but what’s done is done. My muscles are relaxed, and I am in sort of a flow state doing my thing.
T+ 2hrs : Honestly, so far this isn’t nearly as strong as the first few times I tried it. I haven’t had any gabapentinoids for more than 2 weeks. Last time I did pregabalin was about a month ago. Benzos have been out of the picture for a bit longer.
I’m just...relaxed, fluid, chilled out. Not much of the euphoria I was expecting. I was straight up nodding with OEVs and CEVs at this dose and even at lower doses, like 750mg or so, the first 2-3 times I tried pregabalin.
Anyone relate to this?
T+ 4-5hrs: Socializing at the family getty, I notice the confidence and ease of being that comes with many gabaergic drugs. Getting some waves of that sweet Lyrica goodness, but they were fleeting. A beer and a half in, noticing the alcohol, but did not continue drinking after I finished the second beer.
I notice ease in conversation, a happy/goofy disposition, and munchies. Maybe I’m just hungry, but I killed a whole bowl of chips and salsa, and ate mad wings and pizza.
T+6-8hrs: Got home from the party and smoked some bud out of my one hitter, which REALLY boosted it. Similar feelings to what I originally was expecting. Maybe weed is a must for this. Heavy eyes, squiggly visuals, melting into my chair, accompanied by a paradoxical energy. It’s late, about 11pm-12am, I’m tired and have been up since 6am, but if I wanted to, I could easily keep up with the help of this Lyrica. This stuff is really weird.
I hit the bed and fell asleep almost instantaneously. This was around 8 hours after my initial dose.
T+ 14-16hrs: As I write this I’m finishing up a Java Monster, feeling pretty good. I slept great, about 7 hrs in total. Woke up with the WORST cotton mouth though. Still slightly buzzed strangely. I am contemplating taking some more, but I don’t want to waste my stash.
The caffeine is hitting me more than usual, and I have some bud left so I’m gonna try to stretch this as far as I can before I decide whether I’m gonna dose or not. I also just took my daily dose of methadone. Is tolerance really that bad? I’ve heard you’d have to double your dose the next day for the same effects.
Anyway, that’s my report. Most notable effects would be the elimination of anxiety, confidence and energy, sense of well-being, some euphoria towards the end, and muscle relaxation. Did not help with pain much for me. The effects were subtle until I added marijuana to the mix. Really like this substance, but it’s kind of hit or miss for me. Benzos are much more consistent, but I have found that my reasoning is much less impaired with pregabalin and my memory is a hell of a lot better.
Wish I had a bigger script or that I could find a flippin source online or otherwise. Looked everywhere and nada. If I don’t find any I’ll have to settle for a benzo but I’d rather not.
