I take 150 mg Effexor daily. Been on it for 3 years but at different doses. I dissolved a 100 ug tab of 1P-LSD in 2 ml vodka, 8 ml distilled water, shook it up, and let it sit in the fridge overnight. Skipped Effexor yesterday morning and took 1 ml of solution. No noticeable effects during the day, felt pretty good mood-wise but not unusually so. Last night watching Luke Cage, characters looked really yellow, almost glowing. Wife didn't notice anything, and I didn't notice that effect the previous night watching the show. During scenes with redder lighting, characters looked very red but not quite glowing. Watched a different show (old episode of The Sopranos) right after to test, and I would say colors looked a bit more intense than usual and everything very crisp, but not to where I would have noticed if I wasn't looking for an effect. Also, slept like a baby last night with vivid, complex, and pleasant dreams.
I wasn't expecting to notice any effects whatsoever given what I've heard about SSRIs/SNRIs interfering with LSD and the reduced potency of 1P. This was my first time ever MDing, with my goals being to get off the Effexor, improve my energy and motivation, and maybe boost my cognitive performance.
Any thoughts? Did I have an unusually good/potent experience given all the circumstances?
