Fine details in nature — the individual needles of a pine tree, the veins in a leaf, the texture of bark — become strikingly apparent.
At threshold levels, visual acuity enhancement presents as a subtle sense that the world looks slightly sharper or cleaner than usual — like going from a slightly smudged window to a clean one. At moderate intensities, the enhancement is unmistakable: the visual field has a vivid, high-definition quality with noticeably improved detail resolution. Even distant objects may appear sharper than normal. At high intensities, the effect can produce a hyperreal visual quality where the world appears almost unnaturally sharp and detailed, as though each object has been individually illuminated and rendered with microscopic precision.

Visual acuity enhancement is entirely benign and is generally experienced as one of the most pleasant and positive visual effects.
